How it works

The platform provides you with access to qualified English trainers for individual 25-minute conversation sessions.

It's a conversation. Have fun!: See where the conversation takes you. This is not a traditional lesson. We suggest topics based on your level but feel free to go off-topic!
Discover new themes and topics: Choose from our extensive list of themes to personalize your learning experience.
Find a time that is convenient for you: Choose from a range of trainers and times through our online schedule. You can choose a trainer with the same interests as you.
Get a free credit: Each 25-minute conversation session costs 1 credit. When you sign up, you get a free credit. You can buy more through your account.
Flexible cancellation: If something else comes up, you can cancel your session until 30 minutes before the start. Your credit will be returned for another session.
Call in by phone or by videoconference: Call in by phone or connect online with our video conferencing tool from anywhere in the world.

Requirements

You need the following in order to make the most of your conversation sessions.

Sufficient English level: This training improves conversational fluency, so you need to have a basic foundation of English (A2 and above).
Mobile or microphone: You can dial in by phone, or connect via videoconference. Your device will need a microphone.
Internet: You will need an internet connection in order to connect to our online platform and use our videoconference tool.
Webcam (optional): We recommend a webcam, or built-in camera (e.g. laptop, tablet, phone) to get closer to your trainer.

Our conversation method of speaking, eliciting and active listening will ensure that you are more fluent and confident with the everyday use of the language.

As you progress and discover new subjects, your trainer will guide, correct and lead you to being a more accomplished English speaker. We suggest conversation topics based on our 25+ years of pedagogical experience, but your conversation could take you anywhere.

The variety of English trainers on our team provides you with the opportunity to explore their different backgrounds and interests. You will be exposed to different ways of speaking, which will enhance your oral comprehension skills and foster a more comprehensive vocabulary.
